Please allow us the opportunity to be part of your recovery process & support network. We would love to help you develop into the person you want to be! We are looking forward to enrolling you into the Outpatient Program at Homeward Bound.

Support for Your Recovery
Get support from other group members and your counselor towards your recovery of substance abuse and mental health issues.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Get intensive treatment by attending group/individuals 4 times a week for 4 weeks; following completion, transition into SOP. Morning and evening groups are available Tuesday – Friday with Saturday groups available upon approval.

Supportive Outpatient (SOP)
Get supportive treatment by attending group/individuals 2 times a week for 10 weeks; following completion, transition into aftercare! Morning and evening groups are available Tuesday – Friday.

Aftercare
Group sessions for aftercare are once a week on Wednesday evenings for 8 weeks. Follow up on any remaining concerns about your recovery, gain additional recovery tools, and sharpen your existing recovery tools.

Individual Sessions
Schedule individual sessions with your counselor to discuss progress in treatment, any challenges you are facing, and any other personal issues that may arise. COPSD individual therapy sessions can be scheduled more frequently and for a longer duration than IOP & SOP. Further details can be discussed with your counselor.

Group Counseling
You will have an opportunity to: participate in process groups and role-playing exercises, learn coping skills and social skills, receive substance abuse education, view educational films, and go on field trips. You will have a chance to share your experiences with others as well as learn from other member’s experiences.

AA groups
Enjoy AA groups during your regularly scheduled group time.

Guest speakers
Have an opportunity to meet individuals who are succeeding in their recovery and hear their experiences. Also, gain valuable information from members of the community that will assist you in your recovery.

Acudetox / Acupuncture
Benefit from free acudetox in group or by appointment with a counselor. In addition, you are also able to receive free body acupuncture while attending outpatient. (Call Snobia X310)

Bus passes
Receive a bus pass when you attend group, if you are unemployed and do not have your own vehicle.

Certificate of completion
Earn your certificates for completing the IOP, SOP, and Aftercare programs.

Resources
Receive resources and referrals for employment, education, health care, mental health, housing, medication, financial assistance, parenting, and families.

Art Expressions Group
Express your feelings, emotions, and artistic abilities with art expression in our outpatient program.

Parenting Groups
Improve your parenting skills by adding to your parenting tool box. Find appropriate disciplinary skills and boundaries when working with your children. Learn from others as well as share your thoughts and advice. Ask questions, learn, and see the results!

Family Groups
Participate in groups with your family members present. Share your challenges in recovery with your support group. Learn about the dynamics of families and how one person can impact the entire family system. Help your family members understand what it is like for you to enter recovery, and help them understand how to better support you!

Suboxone Clinic
Medication supported outpatient treatment for opiate dependent men and women who meet medical qualifications.
