About

AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism, provides opportunities for Americans to servce their country domestically, address the nation's most pressing challenges, improve lives and communities, and strengthen civic engagement. Each year, the agency places more than 200,000 AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in intensive service roles; and empowers more to serve as long-term, short-term, or one-time volunteers.

Homeward Bound Inc., an AmeriCorps Texas program, is seeking compassionate and resourceful individuals with lived experiences related to these challenges, ready to utilize their experiences as a beacon of hope for those who need it most. As an AmeriCorps Recovery Resource Navigator, you'll play a pivotal role in our team, working directly with our clients during their inpatient stay. Your lived experiences will allow you to connect with our clients on a deep, empathetic level, guiding them through their journey to

recovery.
