At Homeward Bound, Inc., we are committed to our mission to serve others. Our volunteers help us operate efficiently and make our facilities a welcoming environment for everyone. We are always in need of volunteers from the community. We welcome all, and if you have a specific skill set or interest, we try to find something that fits you! Whether it’s helping out in the kitchen or organizing an educational class for our resident clients, we would be happy to have your assistance!
We accept court-mandated community service volunteers as well as any volunteers from the general public. Orientation occurs at our Dallas-Main Campus location at 5300 University Hills Blvd. Orientation happens twice a week: Tuesdays from 9-10 am and Thursdays from 3-4 pm. Attendance at one of these sessions is mandatory for court-mandated community service workers and optional for general volunteers before service can begin.
