COVID-19 Group Policy
Due to current COVID-19 protocol and restrictions, outpatient group sessions are offered via tele-health only. Access to the internet is necessary to participate. Please reach out to your outpatient counselors for help with any accessibility barriers you may be experiencing.
OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Outpatient groups offer counseling, education, and peer support to those individuals who desire to continue their mental health and substance use dual recovery. Clients will learn about addiction and recovery as well as developing coping skills through our evidence-based recovery curriculum. An introduction to a 12-Step Program is included. The normal length of outpatient treatment is designed to last from three to four months (approximately 14 group sessions and 6 individual counseling sessions) transitioning from the intensive phase to a supportive phase. Successful completion may be sooner based on individual needs and progress.
Our outpatient services include both substance use disorder specific services as well as mental health specific services.
Comprehensive Mental Health Program (CMHP)
Our Comprehensive Mental Health Program (CMHP) serves individuals who are struggling with and/or looking to improve their mental health. Qualified Mental Health Professionals assess the client’s strengths and needs to build a treatment plan specifically tailored to each client and then works alongside them to help them reach their specific needs and goals. Treatment goals can include: developing the necessary skills to obtain mental and emotional health and wholeness; finding housing and/or employment and connecting to resources in the area; medication management, and therapy with a licensed professional. The CMHP program serves those who have never received treatment in the past, as well as those who are looking to continue the process of recovery after an inpatient stay.
We treat the following diagnoses; Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Schizoaffective Disorder, along with any substance use disorders. You are eligible for CMHP services if you are uninsured and reside in Dallas, Navarro, Kaufman, Hunt, Rockwall, or Ellis counties.

Proof of Identification (any of the following):
· Picture ID or Driver's License
· Social Security Card
· Birth Certificate
· Visa
· Passport
· Prison ID
Proof of Residency (any of the following):
· Utility bill
· Letter of homelessness/Residency letter
· Verification of assistance form
Proof of Income (any of the following):
· Two recent pay check stubs
· Letter from employer
· Unemployment award letter
· Child support letter
· TANF/Food stamps award letter

Substance Use Outpatient
Clients may enroll in services immediately after detox or inpatient treatment, through outside referral sources or other public sources. We have 3 different locations for outpatient services to accommodate different client demographic areas. While all of our outpatient locations provide the same services, the specific details of each location may vary. Find each of our outpatient locations with full detail below:
Dallas
Group sessions are held Tuesday through Friday mornings from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and Monday through Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
At our location in Dallas, intakes are processed by appointment only after completed intake paperwork is received. Intake appointments are scheduled on Mondays and Tuesdays. Currently, our intakes are being done virtually.
A valid photo ID and proof of residency are required.
We accept most BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield) providers as well as Medicaid. Those who qualify (indigent or no private insurance) and meet criteria, will be enrolled in NTBHA (North Texas Behavioral Health Authority) for services on a sliding fee scale.
For those who do not have private insurance or qualify for state insurance, our out-of-pocket costs for outpatient services are as follows: $75 for intake, assessment or individual counseling, and $35 for each group session. Typical outpatient treatment will include approximately 30 sessions but will vary based on need. Total cost may vary based on the actual number of groups and individual sessions needed.
Payment may be made by cash, money order or credit card. Fees may be paid in one advance payment or on an ongoing basis before each session. Cash or money order payments must be for the exact amount due as we are unable to provide change. Credit card payment may be made during normal business hours only.

The Colony
At this location, group sessions are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Intake at this location is by appointment only. A valid photo ID and proof of residency are required.
For those who do not have private insurance or qualify for state insurance, our out-of-pocket costs for outpatient services are as follows: $75 for intake, assessment or individual counseling, and $35 for each group session. Typical outpatient treatment will include approximately 20 sessions but will vary based on need. Total cost may vary based on the actual number of groups and individual sessions needed.
Payment may be made by cash, money order or credit card. Fees may be paid in one advance payment or on an ongoing basis before each session. Cash or money order payments must be for the exact amount due as we are unable to provide change. Credit card payment may be made during normal business hours only.

At this location, group sessions are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Intake at this location is by appointment only. A valid photo ID and proof of residency are required.
